Note: Bhai Veer Singh does not define Namastwang, Namastang, Nasmastang, Namastat, and Namo. They write ਨਮ: as a short form for Namaskaar. This is perhaps because the term is commonly known throughout South Asia. We can find the definition of this in Bhai Veer Singh Ji’s Sri Guru Granth Sahib Kosh: Sanskrit term meaning Pranaam (bowing in reverence/respect/humility); 2nd meaning Mathhaa Taekanaa (bowing down with forehead at Feet or Ground in front of Feet).
