This section features Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj's Commentary on the previous section speaking about the reality of Aatmaa/Paramaatmaa. This section also includes Madhhsoodhan Saaraswati's additional non-dual commentary which Maharaj translates for us to understand. Brahm refers to non-dual Vaheguru. Child of Maya refers to Mayadhari. Child of Akaal Purakh means Gurmukh[i].
ਟੀਕਾਕਾਰਵਾਚ ॥ (Teekaakaarvaach)
ਚੌਪਈ ॥ (Chaupaee)
ਤਿਸ ਕੋ ਕਰਮ ਜੋਗ ਪਰਵਾਨ ॥
Karam Yoga is accepted as that (This Ko Karam Jog Parvaan)...
ਜੈਸੀ ਭਾਖੀ ਭਗਵਾਨ ॥ ੬੭ ॥
... which was explained by Sri Krishna Ji (Jaisee Bhakhee Bhagvaan)
ਕਰਮ ਕਰਤ ਅੰਤਰ ਸੁਧਿ ਹੋਵੈ ॥
Doing actions that purify inside/the mind (Karam Karath A[n]thar Sudhh[i] Hovai)...
ਤਬ ਵਹਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਮਾਹਿਂ ਚਿਤ ਪੋਵੈ ॥
...will cause their mind to engage in Bhagti (Thab Vah[i] Bhagath[i] Maah[in] Chith Povai)
ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰੈ ਤਬ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਵੈ ॥
Doing Bhagti will cause them to have love for Vaheguru (Bhagath[i] Karai Thab Praem Har[i] Paavai)
ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕੀਐ ਗਿਆਨ ਕੌ ਗਾਵੈ ॥ ੬੮ ॥
If they have love for Vaheguru then they will sing about spiritual wisdom (Praem Keeai Giaan Kau Gaavai)
ਗਿਆਨ ਤੇ ਜਾਨੈ ਅਪਨਾ ਰੂਪ ॥
From this spiritual wisdom, they will know of their [True] Form (Giaan Thae Jaanai Apnaa Roop)
ਚਿਰੰਕਾਲ ਵਹ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਸਰੂਪ ॥
For a long time, they were Brahm Saroop (Chira[n]kaal Vah Braham Saroop)
ਜੋ ਅਬ ਹੀਏ ਗਿਆਨ ਕੋ ਧਾਰੈ ॥
Now, whoever accepts this spiritual wisdom in Their Heart (Jo Ab Heeae Giaan Ko Dhhaarai)
ਇਕ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਅਦ੍ਵੈਤ ਬੀਚਾਰੈ ॥ ੬੯ ॥
They will contemplate on the One Non-Dual Brahm (Eik Braham Adhvaith Beechaarai)
ਅਦ੍ਵੈਤ ਮਾਹਿ ਦੂਸਰ ਨਹੀ ਕੋਇ ॥
Within the Non-Dual, there is no other (Adhvaith Maah[i] Dhoosar nahee Koe[i])
ਆਪ ਹੀ ਆਪ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਵਹਿ ਹੋਇ ॥
They are themselves the same Brahm (Aap Hee Aap Braham Vah[i] Hoe[i])
ਜੋ ਸੇਵੈ ਸੋਈ ਕੁਛੁ ਪਾਵੈ ॥
Whoever serves this will be able to attain something (Jo Saevai Soee Kuchh[u] Paavai)
ਸੋਇ ਹੋਵੈ ਜਿਸੁ ਸੌ ਚਿਤ ਲਾਵੈ ॥ ੭੦ ॥
That happens upon which the mind is attached to (Soe[i] Hovai Jis[u] Sau Chith Laavai)
ਆਗੇ ਹੀ ਗੁਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਗਾਇਆ ॥
Following this Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Nanak Dev Sahib Ji Maharaj sung [the same] (Aagae Hee Gur Naanak Gaaeiaa)
ਵਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤਿ ਜਿਸ ਸੌ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਇਆ ॥
Whomever attaches their mind to Vaheguru will be able to attain Vaheguru (Vahee Praapath[i] Jis Sau Chith[u] Laaeiaa)
ਮਧਸੂਦਨੀ ਟੀਕਾਕਾਰਵਾਚ ॥ (Madhhsoodhanee Teekaakaarvaach)
ਅਬ ਮਧਸੂਦਨੀ ਟੀਕਾਕਾਰ ॥
Now [for the commentary of] Madhhsoodhanee Teekaakaar (Ab Madhhsoodhanee Teekaakaar):
ਐਸੇ ਕਹਿਹੈ ਲੋਕ ਪੁਕਾਰ ॥ ੭੧ ॥
This is what people call the commentator (Aisae Kahihai Lok Pukaar)
ਸੁਨਹੋ ਸਰਬ ਜਗਤ ਕੇ ਲੋਕ ॥
Listen all the people of the world (Sunaho Sarab Jagath Kae Lok)
ਤੀਅ ਸੂਤ ਅਰਜਨ ਹੈ ਕਿਹ ਜੋਗ ॥
Arjun is the child of Maya/Mayadhari, what is he capable of knowing? (Theeaa Sooth Arjan Hai Jog)
ਜੈਸੇ ਰਿਖੀਕੇਸ ਜੀ ਕਹਿਓ ॥
Just as Sri Krishna Ji say (Jaisae Rikheekaes Jee Kahio)
ਤੈਸਾ ਅਰਥ ਮੁਝ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਲਹਿਓ ॥ ੭੨ ॥
Then arths/meanings came to my mind (Thaisaa Arthh Mujh Man Mai Lahio)
ਤੀਅ ਹੈ ਤਮ ਗੁਨ ਮੂਰਖ ਅਗ ॥
Maya is most potent in the burning ignorant Tamoguni state (Theea Hai Tham gun Moorakh Ag);
ਰਜ ਗੁਨ ਥੋੜਾ ਨਹੀ ਤਿਸ ਤਗ ॥
[For who has] Rajogun taking over the mind, they are not Knowers of the True Essence (Raj Gun Thhorraa nahee This Thag; Thag means Tatt-Giani)
ਤਿਸ ਕੀ ਮਤਿ ਨੀਚੁ ਹੈ ਭਾਈ ॥
Oh Brother, These Mindsets are Lowly (This Kee Math[i] Neech[u] Hai Bhaaee)
ਐਸੀ ਸਭ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਕਰਿ ਗਾਈ ॥ ੭੩ ॥
This is what is sung in all the Shaastras (Aisee Sabh Shaasthr Kar[i] Gaaee)
ਜੋ ਤਿਸ ਕਾ ਸੁਤ ਸੋ ਹੈ ਨੀਚ ॥
They are lowly whoever is the child of Maya/Mayadhari [meaning serving Maya/treating as reality](Jo This Kaa Suth So Hai Neech)
ਮਹਾਂ ਅਗਿਆਨੀ ਫਸਿਆ ਕੀਚ ॥
A Major Agiaani/Ignorant-being stuck in mud (Mahaa[n] Agiaanee Phasiaa Keech)
ਪੁਰਖ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਬੇਦੋਂ ਮੈ ਲਹੀ ॥
The Praise of Akaal Purakh comes in the Vedas (Purakh Ousthath[i] Baedho[n] Mai Lahee)
ਪੁਰਖ ਸੁਤ ਪੁਰਖ ਸਮ ਕਹੀ ॥੭੪॥
The child of Akaal Purakh/Gurmukh[i] and Akaal Purakh are known to be One (Purakh Suth Purakh Sam Kahee)
ਪੁਰਖ ਵਹੀ ਜੋ ਸਤਗੁਨ ਮਾਂਹੀ ॥
The Satoguni mind is harmonized with Akaal Purakh (Purakh Vahee Jo Sathgun Maa[n]hee)
ਬਿਨਾਂ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਜਾਨੇ ਜੋ ਨਾਂਹੀ ॥
Knowing nothing to be outside of Braham (Binaa[n] Braham Jaanae Jo Naa[n]hee)
ਐਸੇ ਪੁਰਖ ਕਾ ਸੁਤ ਹੈ ਜੋ ॥
That child of Akaal Purakh/Gurmukh[i] (Aisae Purakh Kaa Suth Hai Jo)
ਸੋ ਭੀ ਆਪ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਹੀ ਹੋ ॥੭੫॥
They themselves are also Brahm (So Bhee Aap Brahm Hee Ho)
ਸੁਤ ਪੁਰਖ ਰਾਗ ਦ੍ਵੈਖ ਤੇ ਮੁਕਤ ॥
The Child of Akaal Purakh/Gurmukh[i] is free from the duality of attachment and division (Suth Purakh Raag Dhwaikh Thae Mukath)
ਲਾਭ ਅਲਾਭ ਮਾਂਹਿ ਸਮ ਜੁਗਤ ॥
Being in a state of profit and loss is treated in same way [as above] (Laabh Alaabh Maa[n]h[i] Sam Jugath)
ਤੀਯ ਸੁਤ ਰਹੈ ਮੋਹ ਮੈਂ ਮਗਨ ॥
The Child of Maya/Mayadhari remains intoxicated in emotional attachments (Theey Suth Rahai Moh Mai[n] Magan)
ਨਿਤ ਬੀਚਾਰੈ ਸਗਨ ਅਪਸਗਨ ॥੭੬॥
They stay thinking about what is auspicious/lucky and inauspicious/unlucky (Nith Beechaarai Sagan Apsagan)
ਜੋ ਵਰਤੇ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਰਜਾਇ ॥
Whoever stays in the will of Vaheguru (Jo Varthae Bhagvaan Rajaae[i])
ਹੁਕਮ ਮਾਂਹਿ ਕਿਆ ਸਗਨ ਦਿਖਾਇ ॥
What is seen as auspicious/lucky when everything is part of Vaheguru’s Hukam? (Hukam Maa[n]h[i] Kiaa Sagan Dikhaae[i])
ਅਰਜਨ ਮੋਹ ਬਾਤ ਜਬ ਕਹੀ ॥
When Arjan spoke in emotional attachment (Arjan Moh Baath Jab Kahee)
ਤੀਯ ਸੁਤ ਨਾਮ ਕੇਸਵ ਤਬ ਕਹੀ ॥੭੭॥
Then Sri Krishna Ji referred to Arjun as a Mayadhari/child of Maya (Theey Suth Naam Kaesav Thab Kahee)
ਜਗ ਸਾਰਾ ਤੀਯਾ ਸੁਤ ਹੈ ਭਾਈ ॥
This entire world is Mayadhari/child of Maya (Jag Saaraa Theeyaa Suth Hai Bhaaee)
ਪੁਰਖ ਸੁਤ ਕੋ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਪਾਈ ॥
It is rare for someone to be the Child of Akaal Purakh/Gurmukh[i] (Purakh Suth Ko Virlaa Paaee)
ਪੁਰਖ ਕੀ ਤੀਯਾ ਮਾਇਆ ਜਗ ਬਨੀ ॥
Through Maya, Akaal Purakh created the world (Purakh Kee Theeyaa Maaeiaa Jag Banee)
ਜਗਤ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਮਾਇਆ ਸਭ ਗਨੀ ॥੭੮॥
Falling in the love with the world is all caused by Maya (Jagath Preeth Maaeiaa Sabh Ganee)
ਤਾਤੇ ਸੁਤ ਸਭ ਤੀਯਾ ਕੇ ਹੋਏ ॥
Then everyone became Mayadhari/children of Maya (Thaathae Suth Sabh Theeyaa Kae Hoae)
ਮੋਹ ਲੋਭ ਮੈਂ ਪਚਿ ਪਚਿ ਮੋਏ ॥
In emotional attachment and greed, they all burn and die (Moh Lobh Mai[n] Pach[i] Pach[i] Moae)
ਪੁਰਖ ਸੁਤ ਹੈ ਹਰੀ ਕੇ ਸੰਤ ॥
The Child of Akaal Purakh/Gurmukh[i] are Vaheguru’s Saints (Purakh Suth Hai Haree Kae Sa[n]th)
ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਿਨ ਜਪਿਓ ਮੰਤ ॥੭੯॥
They Jap the Mantra of Vaheguru’s Name (Har[i] Kaa Naam[u] Jin Japio Ma[n]th)
ਹਰਿ ਜੀ ਬਿਨ ਦੂਸਰਾ ਨਹੀ ਜਾਨੈ ॥
Knowing no one other than Vaheguru Ji (Har[i] Jee Bin Dhoosraa nahee Jaanai)
ਪੁਰਖ ਤਾਤ ਸਭ ਹਰਿ ਹੀ ਮਾਨੈ ॥
The Lovers of Akaal Purakh understand all as Vaheguru (Purakh Thaath Sabh Har[i] Hee Maanai)
ਹਰਖ ਸੋਗ ਤੇ ਰਹੈ ਅਤੀਤ ॥
They remain detached from pleasure and pain (Harakh Sog Thae Rahai Atheeth)
ਸਮ ਕਰ ਜਾਨੈ ਵੈਰੀ ਮੀਤ ॥੮੦॥
and know friends and enemies as the same (Sam Kar Jaanai Vairee Meeth)
ਐਸੇ ਮਧਸੂਦਨ ਜੀ ਗਾਏ ॥
This is what Sri Krishna Ji sung of (Aisae Madhhsoodhan Jee Gaa-ae)
ਜਗਤ ਲੋਕ ਕੌ ਗਾਇ ਸੁਨਾਏ ॥
They sung it to the people of the world and made them listen (Jagath Lok Kau Gaae[i] Sunaa-ae)
ਕਿਸਨ ਮੁਰਾਰੀ ਭਗਤ ਉਧਾਰਨ ॥
Sri Krishna Ji/Vaheguru carry Their Bhagat (Kisan Muraaree Bhagath Oudhhaaran)
ਬੁਧ ਜੋਗ ਕਾ ਕਹਿ ਹੈ ਕਾਰਨ ॥੮੧॥
They are the origin of Budhh Yoga (Budhh Jog Kaa Kah[i] Hai Kaaran)
ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਭਗਵਾਨੋਵਾਚ ॥ (Sree Bhagvaanovaach)
Bachans of Sri Krishna Ji:
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥ (Dhoharaa)
ਹੇ ਪਾਰਥ ਤੁਝਿ ਕਹਿਤ ਹੋਂ ਸਮਝ ਰਾਖ ਮਨ ਨਾਲ ॥
Oh Arjun, understand and keep in your mind that which I explained to you (Hae Paarathh Thujh[i] Kahith Ho[n] Samajh Raakh Man Naal)
ਬੁਧ ਜੋਗੁ ਕੌ ਸਮਝ ਕਰਿ ਕਰਮ ਫਾਂਸ ਕਟਿ ਡਾਲ ॥੮੨॥
Understand Budhh Yoga & cut off the noose of Karams (Budhh Jog[u] Kau Samajh Kar[i] Karam Phaa[n]s Kat[i] Daal)
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥ (Dhoharaa)
ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਬੁਧ ਸੁਨ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਭਗਤੋ ਸਾਥ ॥
Listen to my wisdom first, which is kept close to [Vaheguru's] Bhagats... (Prithhamae Maeree Budhh Sun Jo Mai[n] Bhagatho Saathh)
ਜੋ ਵਹ ਭੂਲ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰੈ ਬੇਗ ਗਹੋਂ ਤਿਸ ਹਾਥ ॥੮੩॥
...that who even accidentally serves [Maya], [Wisdom] quickly leaves their hand (Jo Vah Bhool Saevaa Karai Baeg Gaho[n] This Haathh)
ਛੰਦ ॥ (Chha[n]dh)
ਭੂਲ ਅਭੂਲ ਜੋ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਤਾ ॥
Knowingly or unknowingly serving [Maya] (Bhool Abhool Jo Saevaa Karthaa)
ਪੀਛੇ ਆਗੇ ਚਿਤ ਨ ਧਰਤਾ ॥
They will not be able to focus their mind [on Vaheguru] (Peechhai Aagae Chith n Dhharthaa)
ਤਿਸ ਕੌ ਪਾਪ ਕਛੂ ਨਾ ਦੇਵੌ ਜਾਨੋ ਮਗਨ ਭਇਆ ਜਸ ਕਰਤਾ ॥੮੪॥
Do not attach any sins to them, Know them to be intoxicated [in the Love of Vaheguru], they spend their time praising Vaheguru (This Kau Paap Kachhoo naa Dhaevau Jaano Magan Bhaeiaa Jas Karthaa)
ਭਗਤ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਉ ਦੁਖ ਨ ਕੋਈ ॥
[Vaheguru's] Bhagats don’t face any suffering (Bhagath Maerae Ko[u] Dhukh n Koee)
ਸੁਖ ਸਰੂਪ ਭਗਤ ਕਾ ਹੋਈ ॥
Bhagats have become the Form of Peace (Sukh Saroop Bhagath Kaa Hoee)
ਤਿਸ ਕੇ ਸੰਗ ਸਦਾ ਹਉ ਰਹਤਾ ਸਗਲ ਪਾਪ ਤਿਸ ਕੇ ਮੈ ਹਰਤਾ ॥੮੫॥
I always stay with them, I destroy all their sins (This Kae Sa[n]g Sadhaa Ho[u] Rahathaa Sagal Paap This Kae Mai Harthaa)
ਦੇਖਨ ਥੋੜਾ ਧਰਮ ਹਮਾਰਾ ॥
There is not much asked on this Path to [Vaheguru]:
(Dhaekhan Thhorraa Dhharam Hamaaraa)
ਏਕ ਬਾਰ ਮੁਝ ਨਾਮ ਉਚਾਰਾ ॥
Just say [Vaheguru’s] Name once (Aek Baar Mujh naam Ouchaaraa)
ਅਥਵਾ ਏਕ ਕਰੈ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਸੋ ਤੋ ਭਗਤ ਅਮਰ ਨਹੀ ਮਰਤਾ ॥੮੬॥
...or doing Namaskaar to the One... that Bhagat [which does this] is immortal and never dies (Athhvaa Aek Karai namaskaar So Tho Bhagath Amar nahee Marthaa)
ਇਕੁ ਪੁਹਪ ਪਤ੍ਰ ਮੋਹਿ ਕੋ ਚਾੜੇ ॥
[or if] one flower petal is offered to Guru Sahib (Eik Puhap Pathr Moh[i] Ko Chaarrae)
ਅਥਵਾ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਮੋਹਿ ਉਚਾਰੇ ॥
Or sings Kirtan of Vaheguru (Athhvaa Keerthan Moh[i] Ouchaarae; in these chhands Sri Krishna Ji are referring to themselves but we read this as Praises and worship of Guru Sahib/Vaheguru especially in Kalyug)
ਤਿਸ ਕੇ ਸਗਲੇ ਬੰਧਨ ਕਾਟੋ ਅਪਨੇ ਪਦ ਕੋ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਤਾ ॥੮੭॥
[Anyone who does the aforementioned] Vaheguru will cut their entanglements and they will attained the State of Maharaj’s Lotus Feet (This Kae Sagalae Ba[n]dhhan Kaato Apanae Padh Ko Praapath Karthaa)
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥ (Dhoharaa)
ਹੇ ਅਰਜਨ ਬਿਧ ਆਪਨੀ ਭਾਖੀ ਤੇਰੈ ਮਾਹਿ ॥
Oh Arjun I have told you the way to [Vaheguru] (Hae Arjan Bidhh Aapanee Bhaakhee Thaerai Maah[i])
ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਥ ਜੋ ਭਗਤ ਕੀ ਬੁਧ ਕਹੌ ਅਬ ਤਾਹਿ ॥੮੮॥
I have told you about the Wisdom of [Vaheguru’s] Bhagats (Maerae Saath Jo Bhagath Kee Budhh Kahau Ab Thaah[i])

Towards the end of this section, different forms of bhagti are discussed.
Sri Krishna Ji refer to Bhagti of themselves but for us, we refer to this as Bhagti of Vaheguru/Guru. The Power of Bhagti will save you. Maharaj is showing us how to be successful in life through the conversation of Sri Krishna Ji & Arjun.
