Gobind Gita
Ik Oangkaar Sat(i)gur Prasaad(i)
Translation of Sri Bhagavat Gita; written by Sri Gobind Singh.
I am That (Sohung) Brahm/Divine/God (Oang)
Gobind (this name classically refers to Krishna as the one who looks out for the Cows but Guru Sahib's Name is also Gobind; Cows don't just mean literal cows... the ones who are defenseless; for example Gau-Gareeb di Rakhiya Karn wala, the one who takes care of the Innocent & Defenseless; The Entire Universe is under the Protection & Command of Akaal Purakh)
The One who is without Action/Karma (Akrai = Akaamang) Not taking Form (Niraakaar/Nirankaar) Without Naam (Anaam[u]) Without any Relatives/Close Friends (Nirbandh[u])
Dwelling within Everything (Sarb Nivaasi), Immersed in Everything (Sabh Mahi Raviaa): including The Water, Earth and Air, Different Lands & Dimensions/Planes of Existence (Khand and Brahmand don't have simple translations, need to do khoj to understand them)
Within Everything and Everyone (Sarabae) is the One Perfect Master (Eko Pooran Swami) who does not go anywhere (Achal[i]; everyone else comes and goes but Vaheguru is always present) and cannot be comprehended (Agaadh[i]; the mind & intellect cannot go to the place where Vaheguru is; we can understand everything in this manifested world but Vaheguru's Nirgun is beyond that so how can we understand?) Everything (Sabh) belongs to That (Vahee) Glorious One (Prachand).
Whatever is seen and whatever is heard (Jo Deesai Aru Jo Kichhu SuNeeai), It is One Brahm (Ek Brahm), The Non-Dual (Adut) and The Unbreakable (Akhand) .
Bowing/Paying Respects (Namo) to Our (Hamaaraa) Supreme Master (Param-Eshwar; the term Eshwar is used in many contexts to describe a manifested God/Deity by Their Devotee... so ParamEshwar is the Supreme One because all of the Divine Beings are Forces of the One) who is merged into Everything (Raam; which Ram is being referred to when we read Gurbani? Is it Sri Ram Chandra Ji (son of Dasrath)? Is it Parasram (who defeated all the egotistic Kshattriyas)? Is it Balram (brother of Sri Krishna Ji)? This Raam refers to Akaal Purakh, Ram as in Rameya Hoyaa; merged into every little thing in this manifestation we know of)
The One who manifested (Pasaarae) this game (Khael) which made the misunderstanding of me and You (Hum-Tum Hoei; We think we are different or that Vaheguru is somewhere/someone else; this duality causes us to see each other as different as well, the ego formed out of this ignorance)
Me and You (Hum-Tum) are One (Ek) Immortal/Timeless/Undying (Akaal) Form (Saroop) (In Reality/Truth, there is no me & you... we are just One not bound by time nor death)
The Indescribable (Alakh; cannot be given lakshans[qualities]) Brahmand (Manifestation; what specifically is the bounds of what we refer to as the world, galaxies, Universe... we do not know the edge of this existence) is Gobind’s Form (Ka Roop; specifically referring to Sargun).
Many (Nana) Varieties (Bhaant) have been expanded/manifested (Hoei Pasario) by the Master (Swami). (From One Nirgun; there was Maya-Shakti developed & that Maya-Shakti created more and more multiplying from One to Many)
The Inner-Knower of (Ka Hai Antarjaamee) Every Heart(Ghat(i) Ghat(i); nothing exists without Vaheguru & thus, every heart has Vaheguru within it)
All the Names (Naam), Classifications/Categories (Jaat; usually referred to work classes but it's meaning extends beyond that) are All Your Form (Sabh Roop Tumaarae; reflect on this... any name you call out or we have made ourselves, they are all Vaheguru's Names, all categories we have developed are all Vaheguru's... Sabh includes Everything!)
Oh Beloved (Piaarae), without you (Tudh Bin[u]), there is no one!
Whatever is seen is (Jo Deesai So) Krishna Murari (can look deep into the meanings of Krishna (Dark/Black) Murari (Killer of Mur; Mur-Ari) but for our sake of receiving Kalyan, think of all names referring to Krishna Ji and apply them to Akaal Purakh... as appears in Gurbani)
The One has (Jin[i]) manifested (Pasaaree) this (Aeh[u]) entire game (Saglee Khael)
Just like a child plays (Baalik Niaaee Khael[u]);
everyone is made to be part of the game (Sabh Khaelae)
While this game remains (Khael Rahae) then (Tab) they are to be merged into You (Aap[i] Sang[u] Maelae).
Speaking (Bolan), Listening (Sunan) and Seeing (Dekhan) is all a dream (Sabh Supna).
Within (Mai) The Non-Dual (Advait) Brahm (Divine Entity, whether you wish to refer to as God, Allah, Ram, Khuda, Vaheguru... there are more depths to definition of Brahm) do Jaap & Jap (repetition of Vaheguru's Names/Qualities & remembrance of Vaheguru; this Jaapan & Japna can be explained in many different ways; recommend to reflect through Gurbani)
A Game has been manifested (Ek Baajee Raachee) in this dream (Supan Maah[i])
Whoever knows this becomes (Jin[i] Jaanee So) Truthful in merging with Vaheguru (Gobind Saachee; Saachee means Truthful... this can only happen by being immersed in the Truth)
In that same dream (Vahee Supna), there is something called one Yuga (Ik[u] Jug[u] Kahaaeio; time is relative to the creation, so even Yugas as a measurement of time only exist in the dream, Maharaj is starting to explain the setting of the part of this dream of an existence called the Mahabharata)
Named Dwapur (Dwapur Naam) as the Vedas sing of it (Bed Kahi Gaaeio)
There Krishna showed a wondrous play (Tahaa Krishn Hoae Koutak Keenaa)
Knowledge of the Aatma (Brahmgiaan) was given to Everyone (Sabh Ko Deenaa; meaning that it was shared with everyone; Gita was sung for everyone's Kalyaan)
Whatever was seen was (Jo Daekhai So) the Beloved Krishna (Krisn Piaaraa)
Whoever has (Jin Eih[u]) chanted (Jaap; can mean other things as well but here Maharaj specifically writes Ouchaaraa meaning to speak/say) of The Non-Dual (Advait)
But (Par) When They came to (Jab Aaeiaa) finish/wrap up the game (Khael Sankochan)
Then (Tab) They (referring to Akaal Purakh) manifested (Rachaaieaa) a war in Bharat (Bharat Ka ... Yudh)
All the Bodies (Sabh Deh) of the Pandav’s and Kaurav’s (Pandav Kairav) were made (Banaae; Maharaj is presenting Mahabharata as if it were puppet show, giving us insight on how we should see our existence)
Within All of Them (Beech Sarab Kae) was the King Gobind (Gobind Raae; Akaal Purakh within Their Creation or referring to Sri Krishna Ji being present in this war)
Whatever pleased Vaheguru that is what they were made to do (Jo Kichh[u] Bhaavai Soee Karaavae)
If it’s Vaheguru’s Hukam, They will make them drown in Maya or drown in Anand (Karae Karaavae Magan Ho Jaavae; Magan is used in terms of drowning and losing yourself in something, you can lose your True Self lost in the ignorance in perceiving Maya or losing your perceived separated self [ego] in the Endless Love-Ocean of Vaheguru)
When the war was established (Judh Jab Thaapiaa) in the dream (Supan Maah[i])
Then the two armies (Tab Do Dal) of Kairav and Pandav became to be known (Jaapiaa).
When both of the armies went to battle (Jab Dono Dal Judh Ko Chalae)
All of them went and became merged into Krishna (Sabh Hee Krisn Maahi Jaaei Ralae; can see this as when the warriors died they re-united with Akaal Purakh leaving their bodies or they achieved Mukti [liberation] while in battle or Akaal Purakh is present even amidst the battlefield [either in the Form of Sri Krishna Ji or within every heart])
